- Paint mareas at Ponderosa Paints

Deb is a wife, mother, and avid horse lover. Deb and her husband bought their ranch in Central Texas in December of 2004 and moved in early 2005 from their ranch in northern Arizona. Deb has been a Realtor specializing in farm and ranch and horse properties for over 14 years and has been a Paint horse breeder for just as many. Deb’s Paint breeding program is built around her Skipper W bred mares sired by the late Skip Along Paint.
Deb grew up in Paradise Valley a suburb in the metro Phoenix area. As a ”developer’s daughter” she grew up with exposure to real estate almost 24-7 as her father ( among other things ) developed The Lakes in Tempe AZ, the first man made lakes housing subdivision of it’s kind in Arizona and a Gold Nugget award winner.
As a young girl Deb was exposed to all the phases of development from standing in a producing cotton field with her Dad “envisioning” the develpment to learning how to drive at the bottom of the man made lake during the earth moving stage , to living in the subdivision as a young woman.
In the mid 90’s Deb and her husband had an opportunity to move to Colorado to a stunning 200 acre tract of land that had a magnanimous view of Pikes Peak in a farm and ranch subdivision called Red Creek Ranch. Deb and her husband lovingly built their dream home – an earthship.

Red Creek Ranch was a development of upscale horse, ranch, and rural residential ranch properties. Each individual parcel was no less than 40 acres and many were as large as 200 and 300 acres. Red Creek Ranch was one of a number of ranches purchased and subdivided by the Developer.
It was there in Red Creek Ranch that Deb cut her teeth on the inner workings of a large Home Owners Association becoming President and chairing the road maintenance and legal compliance committees.
During Deb’s tenure as President of the Red Creek Ranch HOA she learned a lot about dealing with issues that arise between a fledling development and it’s Developer. and HOA related issues. She also realized there was an opportunity for her to get her Real Estate license , become a Realtor, and specifically handle the resale of the development’s ranch land and rural residental ranch properties, the beginning of her personal real estate career.
Realtors in that area were not interested in traveling out of the local town to show properties – too time consuming. But for Deb it was a heaven sent job – working out on the ranches, and horse properties, helping Buyers and Sellers meet their real estate goals. Deb was a natural and soon became a Top Producer in the area.
Years later due to illness in both Deb and her husband’s families back in Arizona they made a painful decision to sell there eco friendly home and acreage in Colorado to move back to Arizona. Deb and her husband relocated in Chino Valley just outside of Prescott where Deb restablished her real estate business specializing in farm and ranch, rural residential, and horse properties.
Over the years Deb became known as THE Horse Property Specialist and she was a RARE Top Producer for many years. As a testament to her tenancity and skills as a real estate professional she trained her personal assistant who later inherited Deb’s real estate business which is still thriving in that area.
After having met family needs Deb and her husband visited friends in Bastrop Texas and fell in love. They found a beautiful horse property on the Colorado River and moved ( husband swears it will be the last move he makes with all of Deb’s horses!) from Northern Arizona to Central Texas.
Deb has once again re established her presence as an experienced Realtor in and around the counties in Central Texas. Deb thrives on being with her horses and her husband says she is just plain addicted to her real estate career helping Buyers and Sellers locate or sell horse property, farm and ranch land, rural residential and residental resale including eco friendly and vintage/historic properties.
If you are considering the purchase or sale of property in Bastrop or surrounding counties and you are looking for a Realtor who will work for you, with your best interests in mind, with honesty and integrity, contact Deb.
Deb is happy to refer Buyers to qualified Top Producing Agents if anyone is looking for property in Northern Arizona or the Front Range in Colorado !
