Paige Texas is east and a little north of Bastrop in Bastrop County nestled between Highways 290 which runs from Elgin to  Giddings in Lee County  and  Highway 21 between Bastrop and Caldwell in Lee County  east and a little north of Bastrop.

Information about Paige

Paige is located about 45 miles east southeast of Austin on US Highway 290, a few miles past State Highway 21 in the northeast corner of Bastrop County. Established at the site of a water tower on the Houston and Central Texas rail line this town was named after a local, Norman Paige, a civil engineer who platted the rail lines. With it’s sandy loam soil and it’s proximity to Austin and Houston it is a popular area for gentleman’s ranches and horse properties.

Shopping and Ammeneties for Paige

I think that Bastrop and it’s large grocery and box stores down 21 is a good place to head for shopping but Elgin and Giddings either direction  on 290 has some of the same just not the box stores.  Depending on your location in Paige you could always run in to Smithville for staples and dining as well.
