You can find Upton Texas about six miles outside of Smithville in Bastrop County off of Farm to Market 2571.  It is approximately 13 miles in to Bastrop.

Information About Upton

Upton was a station of the Missouri, Kansas and Texas railroad and although there is no longer a station there today residents still enjoy the sounds of the daily trains that travel the tracks running parallel to the Colorado River.
