About Hidden Shores
Hidden Shores is a small rural residential subdivision that is located on a small peninsula of shoreline of the Colorado River. Most of the lots are between a quarter acre to 3 acres. Some are on the river. Some lots already have a well. There is electric and telephone service. Mail and trash service are also available. Homes and RV ports are on septic systems. Many if not all of the lots are in FEMA flood so there are requirements for building. RV ports are common. There are two small park like areas with access to the Colorado River for the land/homeowners to use if they do not have direct access to the river from their lot.
Shopping and Ammeneties for Hidden Shores
Smithville is the closest town for shopping from Hidden Shores. It has a grocery, liquor store, gas station(s), car wash(s), Dollar discount store, a number of good restaurants ranging from the fast food drive through to sit down dining. Bastrop is approx. 15 minutes away and Bastrop has a larger selection of all of the above as well as newer box stores that have moved into the area.
