This last week I decided to see what the Rio Vista Farm and Tackshop in Del Valle was all about. Located at 13013 Fallwell Lane ( turn north east off of Hwy 71) this facility is one of the nicest I have seen in Central Texas. It opened around 1995 and offers boarding, training, lessons, kids camps, as well as a tack shop that is stocked with all the necessary goodies we equestrians love to have for our horses.
The facility is geared for hunter jumpers with a beautiful lighted arena, immaculate barns, big wash bays, and covered runs. The staff is super friendly and it is in a great location for horse owners in the Austin area.
I compiled a short video presentation of just some of the features of the facility below. I have a true appreciation for facilities like this one that is top notch and wanted to share what I saw.
There are lots of different disciplines in the equestrian/horse world, and this facility is just one of many that are in around the Austin area. Many horse owners prefer to board their horses at facilities like this, but many want to have their horses with them on their own horse property. That is what I specialize in.
