Pecan Shores is located just outside of Smithville Texas off of FM 2571 along the Colorado River in Bastrop County Texas. Bastrop County is located southeast of Austin approx. 30 minutes.
About Pecan Shores
Pecan Shores is a small rural residential subdivision nestled on the “shores” of the Colorado River. The lots are small acreage lots generally around 1-3 acres. Due to the fact that the property is right by the River some of the lots are in FEMA flood and require elevated building site for home developement but many of the lots that are in flood can be used for ”RV Ports”. The area has mature Pecan trees which makes it quite appealing.
Shopping and Ammeneties for Pecan Shores
Smithville is the closest town for shopping from Pecan Shores. It has a grocery, liquor store, gas station(s), car wash(s), Dollar discount store, a number of good restaurants ranging from the fast food drive through to sit down dining. Bastrop is approx. 15 minutes away and Bastrop has a larger selection of all of the above as well as newer box stores that have moved into the area.
