Although this sounds like a development out of the United States …this development is located just a few miles outside of downtown Bastrop in Bastrop County Texas just off Highway 71 southeast of Austin by about 34 miles.

Tahitian Village has beautiful real estate in and among the mix of rolling hills and loblolly pines and many homes and homesites sites on the Pine Forest Golf Club, which is nestled along side the Colorado River. There is an active home owners association and there are light covenants, no mfg. homes are allowed. The roads are paved for the most part. Water, telephone and electric service are available to most of the lots. Some lots qualify for sewer service. If no sewer service is available septic is necessary and in some cases it is necessary to have two adjacent lots in order to qualify for septic.
Shopping and Ameneties for Tahitian Village
The Tahitian Village community also has a small convenience store, day care center, and other small businesses. The town of Bastrop is just a few miles away and most all of the daily conveniences are there. And for those items that you just can’t find in Bastrop you can head in to Austin which is under 45 minutes for anything else you might need.
Things to do near Tahitian Village
There is also a nature walk down by the river that local land and homeowners can enjoy. If you like to kayak there is a entry / pull out by the nature walk. For golfers there is the Pine Forest Golf Course and just a few miles away there is another golf course at the state park.
