Bastrop has many lovely homes in it’s historic districts and many are listed on the Historic Register. During the holidays there have been tours sponsored by the Bastrop Historical Society.
The Historical Society is located at 702 Main Street in the John Cornelson House ( circa 1850) has lots of great information about the wonderful history of Bastrop. Call 512-303-0057 for more information on their hours of operation.
